Father Arrested For Head Butting DCF Worker

MIAMI - (CBSMiami.com) - A father who did not have custody of his son is accused of head butting a DCF worker who came to his house to retrieve the child.

Now, 30-year-old Carlens Constant is facing a battery and criminal mischief charge. A bond court judge ordered him held on $10,500 bond.

The events that led to Constant's arrest began on August 4th on the 700 block of Northeast 166th Street.

Department of Children and Families agent Victor Onweazuekwa arrived at the home to retrieve Constant's son. Constant told his son to run away, while he allegedly head butted the worker and threw an object through a nearby window in an attempt to intimidate the DCF worker, police said in the arrest form.

Police say Constant then drove off in a green Toyota, but returned on foot.

Onweazuekwa called police and Constant returned to the scene, which is when he was arrested.
