Father Accused Of Burning 5-Year-Old Son
MIAMI- (CBS4) - A Miami man accused of beating and burning his 5-year-old son with hot metal prongs from an adaptor that had been plugged into an electrical outlet faced a bond court judge Tuesday.
Clement Felix, 35, a mechanic, was upset with his son because "he misbehaved in school," according to the Miami-Dade police report.
On November 16th, police say, Felix retrieved a belt and tied the child's hands and then unplugged the adaptor cord from the outlet and used the metal prongs to burn his back multiple times.
The child had several burn marks on his back and shoulder.
Felix was charged with aggravated child abuse. He was held on $50,000 bond.
