Roger Dean Stadium is the only facility in the country to host two Minor League Baseball organizations (Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals), and two Major League Baseball teams (Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals during Spring Training only). The stadium holds up to 6,800 fans (6,600 seats and 200 in the grass berm area). Chairs are not permitted on the lawn, but fans may bring blankets. The Standing Room Only (SRO) area is clearly marked by yellow paint and "Standing Room Only" wording. Smoking is only permitted on the lower level concourse.
Ticketing
The price for general admission is $9. Season tickets can be bought for $225 and come with several perks. Ticket Office hours are weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from noon to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 3:00 p.m. SRO tickets are available once all seats and grass berm tickets are sold. Contact the Group Ticket Department at (561) 775-1818 to buy tickets for fifteen or more. There is no charge for children two years old and under, but they must be held on an adult ticket holder's lap. Discounted ticket prices, subject to verification, are available for children ages three to twelve and for seniors over 55. Should you require special ADA seating, contact the ticket office (561) 630-1828, or let them know at the gate. No pets other than trained assist animals are allowed.
Present your game day ticket at the turnstile to receive eligible promotional items. If you need to leave during a game, you'll either need a hand stamp or torn game ticket to renter the stadium. Ticket purchases are final. However, if a game is postponed due to rain, take your ticket stub to the ticket window in exchange for any game that season.
Entering The Stadium
Gates open one hour before Florida State League games so fans can watch batting practice. Fans can obtain autographs before the game, after the game, and during workouts only.
All bags are searched by stadium security. Signs, banners and bats are not permitted unless pre-approved by stadium management. Fans can't bring in outside food and beverages. Cameras and video recorders are permitted for personal use only. Professional baseball strictly prohibits taping the game itself, so stands to hold photographic equipment are not allowed. The transmission of any information about the game is forbidden unless expressly authorized by the teams themselves.
During The Game
Programs for Florida State League season games cost $2. They can be purchased at several locations throughout the concourse.
Fan behavior during games is critical and violation of the following edicts will subject them to eviction from the stadium, and possibly arrest, prosecution and/or fines.
1) Authorized personnel only are allowed on the field before, during and after games.
2) Don't throw anything onto the field.
3) Don't interrupt any aspect of an ongoing game including touching, attempting to touch and/or interfering with a ball in play or a player.
4) Don't engage in any unauthorized peddling or vending on the property.
Food And Beverage
Food and other items can be obtained from concessions stands, portable stands and vendors passing in the seating area. The menu includes hamburgers, Dean Dogs, Italian sausage, bratwurst, peanuts, popcorn, desserts, Pepsi soft drinks and bottled water as well as some vegetarian offerings. Food provider Delaware North Companies will make exceptions to the no outside food and beverage policy for specific medical needs and items required by infants and small children. There is a limit of two alcoholic beverages per person per purchase, and drinks can't be taken out of the stadium. Alcohol is only served to persons over 21. The stadium urges designated drivers, or contacting the main office for a cab, to ensure inebriated fans make it home safely.
In Case Of Emergency
A paging system is available at the facility. Should an emergency arise, contact an usher. If you're a doctor or other professional personnel on emergency call, leave your name at the Palm Beach Post Information Booth. In addition, the Jupiter Medical Center First Aid staff is stationed throughout the stands during games.
