FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Family and friends are passing out flyers in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday in hopes someone will recognize a 25-year-old father who went missing.

Steven MacKrell was last seen Wednesday at Lucky's Tavern located at 214 SW 2nd St. in Fort Lauderdale.

"He's just vanished off the face of the Earth and somebody has to know something.  Somebody has to have seen him or know something about his whereabouts," said Michael MacKrell, Steven's brother.

Steven MacKrell was apparently at the bar with a friend, but left on his own.

According to MacKrell's aunt, his bank account has not been touched, his cell phone has not been on and his car has not been seen.

Now those close to Steven MacKrell are passing out flyers at Walgreens off Broward Boulevard and NW 7th Avenue where he was supposed to meet up with friends.

"They were supposed to meet here and then go out afterwards and he said that his friend came here and Steven, my brother, was gone.  We don't know what's going on right now," said Michael MacKrell.

Steven MacKrell's 1-year-old daughter was there as flyers went up and friends and family asked around.

His mother is hoping her nightmare comes to an end soon.

"I am trusting God with this situation. It has not been easy. Please if you have seen Steven anywhere or if you are anywhere please contact home," said Astrid MacKrell.

If you have any information regarding his disappearance, please contact Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
