Family Asks For Help Finding Woman With Dementia
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A north Broward family has asked for the public's help in finding their mother who went missing on Mother's Day.
Claudia Thomas, 79, was last seen Sunday afternoon at her daughter's home in Deerfield Beach.
The Broward sheriff's office Thomas' car was being kept at her daughter's residence since Thomas was diagnosed with dementia and couldn't drive anymore.
After the day's celebration, Thomas got into her car and drove away. She was last seen wearing a lavender dress and slippers.
Thomas drives a silver 2003 Ford Taurus, with a Florida tag number L208GA.
