MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man was escorted off a plane in cuffs at Miami International Airport Monday, accused of shoving a flight attendant.
CBS4 Producer Silva Harapetian was heading home after a memorable flight from Los Angeles to Miami.
What was a peaceful trip turned into a tense situation when a woman in front of her screamed.
"He shoved her, he pushed her, somebody come here, somebody help," Harapetian recalled the woman saying.
Passenger Martha Young sat next to the man in question.
"We see that he was arguing with people around. He was using bad language," said Young. "They came and he was very rude to them."
The accused man headed to the back of the plane after escaping from a flight attendant.
Harapetian captured video of another man who followed the rowdy passenger.
"Another guy walked to the back of the plane and I assumed they guy knew what he was doing," said Harapetian. "Eventually he took his badge out."
The sky marshal was able to detain the unruly man until they reached Miami were he was taken to jail.
So what was the problem?
According to Young "a bottle of liquor" fell out of the man's pocket when he got up.
