Exclusive: Crime Scene Video Reveals Evidence In Davie Murder

DAVIE (CBSMiami) - A Davie Police crime scene video is providing an inside look at some of the evidence against Dayonte Resiles, accused of the shockingly brutal and random killing of Jill Halliburton Su inside her home last September.
The video shows all areas of Su's home following the murder, including the broken glass and a busted patio door revealing what Davie police believe was the entry point for Resiles. The video lays out a roadmap of what investigators theorize occurred when Resiles broke into the home on September 8th in an apparent burglary attempt and stabbed Su to death.

CBS 4 News obtained this police crime scene video through a request to the Broward State Attorney's Office.
The video shows a knife on the outside of the front door and a looped green belt on a foyer mat just inside the front door…
Police believe the belt was used to restrain Jill Su. Prosecutor Greg Rossman discussed the DNA found on the belt at Resiles initial court hearing several months ago.
"There's no explanation for the defendant's DNA to be inside a home he does not live in and has no ties to and the victim's DNA, mixed with that, on what was used to bind her in the position she was found," Rossman told the court.
The video shows numerous blood spots on the carpet as well as jewelry boxes that appear to have been rifled through, dresser drawers pulled open and damage in a closet from the spot where police say an alarm was ripped from the wall. The video details the crime scene markers spread throughout the house, pinpointing every area that could contain evidence on the walls and floor.
Police say Su was murdered inside the bathroom, which was apparently near the broken glass door. She left behind a husband and two children.
Court records show Resiles is accused of burglarizing other high end homes and -- in some cases -- breaking in in a similar fashion, through a back window or door.
Resiles is being held in jail without bond. Prosecutors have said they are considering all options in this case -- including pursuing the death penalty against him.
