Ex-Monroe Co. Deputy Out On Bond After DUI Arrest
KEY WEST (CBS4) - A former Monroe County Sheriff's Office deputy who was fired after he was charged with DUI in Key West has been released from jail on bond.
William Davis, 37, was arrested by Key West police and booked into the Stock Island jail early Saturday morning and charged with DUI and DUI-property damage.
The Sheriff's Office has not released the details of Davis' arrest or said what kind of property he allegedly damaged.
Davis, who had worked for the Sheriff's Office for less than a year and was still on probation, was terminated by the department Saturday afternoon.
Davis had been assigned to the Middle Keys.
