ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) — It didn't take very long for a suspect to emerge in a tragic shooting near Orlando.
Authorities are searching for a 41-year-old man suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend and critically injuring her brother.
Orange County Sheriff's spokeswoman Jane Watrel says Markeith D. Loyd should be considered dangerous.
He's suspected of shooting 24-year-old Sade Dixon when she opened the front door of her home on Tuesday night. Her 26-year-old brother Ronald Steward was shot when he came to her aid.
Dixon's father Ron Daniels tells the Orlando Sentinel she recently received her real estate license and ran an online business selling hair products.
She graduated from high school in Utica, N.Y. before moving to Florida.
Dixon was three months pregnant. Her two children — ages 5 and 7 — were inside the home with her parents. They weren't injured.
