Estero Man Accused Of Burglarizing In The Buff
ESTERO (CBS4) - A Lee County man is in trouble with the law after police say he burglarized a housing complex, in nothing but his birthday suit.
Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua Abernathy, 34, and charged him with burglary and petty theft charges for the January 7th incident at the Mariner's Cove adult community.
Police say Abernathy entered the community's club house through an open sliding glass door and stole sausage, a first aid kit, and napkins from the kitchen.
Abernathy is believed to have stripped down to take a shower in a room just off of the kitchen area, and just stayed that way wandering around the club house.
He was arrested 12 days later after police reviewed surveillance video at the complex.
