Vice Mayor Of El Portal Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A South Florida politician is sitting in jail Monday night.
Omar Nickerson, the vice mayor of El Portal, was arrested on one charge of domestic violence.
Nickerson's wife told police he grabbed her by the neck after he accused her of cheating.
He claims his wife tried to take their kids and run him over.
Nickerson is being held on $1,500 bond.
