Early Voting Underway In Miami-Dade, Broward
MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Some voters in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties are playing it smart by taking advantage of early voting, which began this morning.
Through next Saturday, voters can avoid the inevitable traffic headaches in the parking lots and long lines that are part of Election Day.
On Saturday morning, poll workers showed up at 20 voting sites in Miami-Dade County and 17 in Broward County. They offer the following information to early voters:
• Bring a photo ID and voter registration card to your early voting site: Miami-Dade (7 a.m.-7 p.m.) | Broward (11 a.m.-7 p.m.)
• Before voting, review your personalized sample ballot to see what's on it: Miami-Dade | Broward
• For additional information, visit your county's election website: Miami-Dade | Broward
Your votes in this Florida primary will determine who represents your party in November in races at the Congressional, commission, county and city levels.
Supervisor of Elections Penelope Townsley reminds registered voters that, regardless of party affiliation, they are eligible to vote in this election.
