Dwyane Wade Out Against 76ers Tuesday
MIAMI (CBS4) - When the Miami Heat hit the floor tonight to battle Eastern Conference rival the Philadelphia 76ers, the Heat will be without superstar Dwyane Wade.
Head coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade will miss Tuesday night's game against Philly after he bumped knees with someone in the Heat's loss at Boston Sunday night.
"We want to be very smart. Nothing serious. Just a bruise. But he is sore," Spoelstra told the media, according to Ethan Skolnick of the Palm Beach Post.
Wade hasn't been ruled out for Wednesday night's game against Oklahoma City and his status has been described as "hopeful."
With Wade out, it's possible the Shane Battier will be inserted into the starting lineup and that James Jones may see his playing time increase as well against Philly.
