Drivers Get Turkeys Instead Of Tickets In Miami Gardens
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Some drivers in Miami Gardens got a shock Friday morning after getting pulled over for minor traffic violations.
Instead of a ticket, Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt and her officers handed out turkeys.
It was part of the department's third annual "Turkey instead of tickets" operation.
As you can imagine, not only were the drivers relieved, they were very happy and thankful for the gift.
