Drive Collecting Christmas Toys For Haiti's Kids
MIAMI (CBS4) - Still reeling from the effects of an earthquake in January, the passing of Hurricane Tomas over the summer and an outbreak of cholera in the fall, the people of Haiti are doing all they can to hang on.
One of the hardest hit groups is the children who hope for a better future is tested daily as they try to survive from day to day.
Charles Buford, a disabled veteran, is looking for your support, and donations, to help bring Christmas to the Children of Haiti.

Buford is used to lending a helping hand to those in need. He's the Executive Director of the Make-A-Wish Veterans organization which provides food, clothing, transportation and other needed resources to those who served out country and now find themselves in need.
Buford is organizing a Christmas airdrop to Haiti right before Christmas Eve where he hopes to give away hundreds of sleeping bags, tents and toys to families who are doing without.
If you would like to help out, donations of unused toys, playpens or gifts will be accepted all next week. Donations will be collected Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Make-A-Wish Veterans office at 9501 NW 27th Avenue in Miami.
