Downtown Miami Street Reopens After Bomb Scare
MIAMI (CBS4) – It's back to business in a section of downtown Miami after police shut down traffic for two hours over a possible threat.
A bomb squad was called to Southeast 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street due to a bomb scare, according to Miami Police.
Video from Chopper 4 showed a suitcase next to a tree in the shutdown area but it's not known if the suitcase had anything do with the threat.
CBS4 News partner the Miami Herald reports authorities were called to the Israeli Consulate building over a dispute and possible bomb threat. The Herald also reports a man named Bill Rolland was taken into custody.
The investigation continues and charges are pending.
