Dolphins RB Bush Passes 1,000 Yards Rushing
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (CBS4/AP) — As the Miami Dolphins take on the New England Patriots Saturday, one Dolphin player reached a career milestone. Reggie Bush has gone over 1,000 yards rushing for the first time in his career.
Bush, in his first season with the Miami Dolphins after five with the New Orleans Saints, reached that milestone with an 8-yard run in the first quarter of Saturday's game. That gave him 29 yards for the game and 1,002 for the season, his first as a full-time running back.
His previous season high was 581 yards in 2007.
In his last game, Bush rushed for a career-high 203 yards on 25 carries in a 30-23 win over the Buffalo Bills. He's gained at least 100 yards on the ground in each of his last three games and four times this year.
