Dolphins Player Mike Pouncey Talks About His Recent Weight Loss
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey is expected to start Sunday's critical AFC East game against rival New York Jets about 15 pounds lighter.
The Former Florida Gator admitted to the Sun-Sentinel, he had lost 15 pounds, not 5 as first announced, because of a stomach illness which caused him to miss two games.
"I was afraid to eat anything because I couldn't keep anything down,"Pouncey told the Sun-Sentinel.
Pouncey practiced without limitations on Wednesday which allowed Nate Garner to return to his starting left guard spot.
The Dolphins versus Jets game starts at 1:00 p.m. (ET) on CBS4.
