Dolphins' Moreno Returns To Practice

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Knowshon Moreno was back on the practice field for the Miami Dolphins on Monday.

The star running back dislocated his elbow in the team's second game versus the Buffalo Bills. It was a sore loss for the Fins, who watched Moreno shred the New England Patriots for 134 yards on the ground in the season opener.

Moreno was projected to be out anywhere from four to eight months, but the bye week may have helped.

The Sun Sentinel reported he went through 15 minutes of drills that were open for the media to watch. Even though he practiced, his status for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers is still up in the air.

Defensive tackle Randy Starks was also back on the practice field. Starks missed the trip to London against the Oakland Raiders because of a back issue.

Starks is not a lock to play on Sunday. He could still be listed as limited.

Moreno and Starks are among six Dolphin starters who could return for the Fins when they face the Packers.

Mike Pouncey, Reshad Jones, Shelley Smith and Koa Misi could all be back this week.

However, cornerback Cortland Finnegan missed practice Wednesday and his status remains clouded.

Defensive end Derrick Shelby was arrested on Saturday at a Fort Lauderdale bar and was suspended by the team on Monday.

With the Packers coming off a huge 42-10 win against the Minnesota Vikings, the Dolphins will have to hope some combination of these starters are back for Sunday's game.
