CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) - Prosecutors have finished presenting evidence against Munawar Tola, wrapping up their case against the 67-year-old on Tuesday afternoon.

A prosecution witness said a key piece of DNA evidence failed to incriminate Toha as the man who dumped his wife's body in a lake.

As reported by the Sun Sentinel, DNA expert Christopher Comar said Surya Sari-Prihatin's blood and DNA were found on numerous pieces of evidence.

However, Comar said none of the DNA found on the tape used to bind a plastic bag over Sari-Prihatin's head belonged to Toha.

Toha's defense attorney Martin Fein has argued that if his client didn't handle the tape, who did?

Before Wednesday's closings, two more witnesses took the stand.

The prosecution called up a lead detective in the case and an undercover Fort Lauderdale Police detective who said Toha tried to hire him to kill four witnesses in the case.  In a recording of their conversations, Toha is heard saying "I need to clean house."

Toha was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder two years ago and is serving 30 years for it.

Toha told the judge that he will decide on Wednesday if he will testify.

A letter written by Sari-Prihatin was also shown. The letter described Sari-Prihatin's fear that she was going to be killed.

Toha will be sentenced to life in prison if convicted for his wife's murder.

The jury is expected to begin deliberations Wednesday afternoon.
