Djokovic Reaches Men's Final At Ericsson
KEY BISCAYNE (CBS4) – There won't be an American winning the Sony Ericsson title in 2011. The last American hope, Mardy Fish, was crushed in a straight set victory (6-3, 6-1) by Novak Djokovic.
Fish never really gave Djokovic any trouble. Djokovic saved all six break points he faced Friday and has yet to be broken in 40 service games in the Ericsson.
During the match against Fish, Djokovic hit 15 winners and committed just 14 unforced errors. His opponent will be the winner of Friday night's match between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
Djokovic is 23-0 in 2011, which is the best record to start a year since Ivan Lendly started 25-0 in 1986. He has already claimed the Australian Open this year.
