Deputies Searching For Gunman In Deadly Dania Beach Shooting
DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Broward Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a person who shot and killed a 19-year old and left another injured in front of a Dania Beach apartment complex on Friday.
Officials have not released details on the person they are looking for.
Authorities said they responded to a report of a shooting just before 11:00 p.m. at the Gulfstream Apartments located at 46 N.W. 10 Court.
Once they arrived, the found two men with gunshot wounds lying on the ground in front of the building.
Crews transported the two to Memorial Regional Hospital.
Brandon Jones, 19, of Fort Lauderdale, was declared dead shortly after. His friend, who's has not been identified for security reasons, is expected to survive.
