Deerfield Beach Hit & Run Victim Succumbs To Injuries
DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) – A woman who was struck in the middle of the street by a hit and run driver in Deerfield Beach has died from her injuries.
Sandra Gail Limburg, 39, died Monday at North Broward Medical Center.
It happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of North Dixie Highway. After striking Limberg as she crossed the street, the driver of the 2000 or 2001 Mazda Millennia got out of the car and looked at her in shock before getting back in the car and speeding off.
Witnesses told investigators he had been driving at a high rate of speed and changing lanes when he struck Limburg.
