Deadly Shooting Outside Broward Club

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - The sound of gunfire led a Broward Sheriff's deputy to deadly shooting outside a night club overnight.
The shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. at Club BAM located at Broward Boulevard and NW 28th Terrace.
"When the Broward Sheriff's deputy arrived on scene he found a man unresponsive in the parking lot of the business who had suffered a gunshot wound," said sheriff's spokeswoman Kayla Concepcion. "Fire rescue responded to the scene and pronounced him dead."
Concepcion said several people were leaving the club at the time of the shooting and the department's detectives plan to interview the witnesses along with reviewing the club's security tapes.
The sheriff's office identified the man who died as 27-year old Joshua Rogers. They have not said what led up to the shooting.
