Davie Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Young Girl

DAVIE (CBS4) - A mother-daughter talk about 'good touch/bad touch' has led to the arrest of a Davie man who is accused of sexually battering the 6-year old girl.

According to Davie police, on Monday the girl and her mother were talking about inappropriate touching when the girl said Harold Hunt, 20, had touched her breasts, her buttocks and in other 'private' places. The girl also told her mother that he had committed acts of sexual battery in their home and in the pool. The girl said she thought he should go to jail because what he did to her was against the law.

The girl's mother contacted police who took Hunt into custody. During question, police say Hunt denied sexually battering the girl but said it was possible "that he accidentally touched the victim" while they were in the pool.

Hunt was arrested and charged with five counts of sexual battery on a child under 12 years of age and one count of violation of community control/probation.
