Davie Boil Water Advisory Lifted
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – All right Davie, drink up.
Water that is.
After three days, the town has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory.
The boil water notice impacted only residents who receive their water from the Town of Davie.
The advisory was issued early Sunday morning after a supply valve was inadvertently closed which caused a low Water Pressure Incident at the Davie Water Treatment South Plant. The supply valve was immediately reopened, and the system returned to normal within 10 minutes.
The Town kept the advisory in place until it could determine the water was safe to drink.
