Dancer Wants Tebow On Dancing With The Stars
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow danced around the pocket plenty in his first year as a starter. Now, at least one member of a popular TV show wants Tebow to really put on his dancing shoes.
Dancer Karina Smirnoff told People Magazine that her birthday wish was to get the former Florida Gator on the dance floor for Dancing with the Stars.
"Tim is a very talented athlete, that was clear when we saw his performance this past season with Denver," Smirnoff told People. "He can run, jump, pass, throw touchdowns. All that is missing is to see if he has the dance skills."
But, getting Tebow onto the dance floor may be a tough sell.
This week, Tebow declined an invitation from CBS Sports to join the pregame show before the weekend's AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.
