Crist's Wife Sells Her Condo For $3.5 Million
MIAMI (CBS4) -- The wife of former Gov. Charlie Crist has sold her ritzy condo near Miami for $3.5 million.
The four-bedroom, four-bath condo is located on Fisher Island, Miami's exclusive island that's accessible only by ferry, yacht or helicopter. It's also said to be one of the most expensive zip codes in the country.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Friday that the 3,700-square-foot apartment belonged to Carole Rome when she and Crist dated and later married when he was governor. Rome bought the condo in 2007 with her previous husband.
The former governor and his wife live in a high-rise condo in downtown St. Petersburg. The unit is assessed at $263,000.
Crist is working for a personal injury law firm.
