Crime Spree Ends With Two Men In Police Custody
NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Police could be seen taking two men into custody Monday afternoon after they allegedly went on a crime spree.
The men were taken into custody at 124 Street between 17th Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach.
The arrest unfolded on the campus of Johnson and Wales University, directly across from the school's safety and security building and a residence hall.

A spokesperson for the University told CBS 4 News that the arrest did not disrupt the campus and students were told of the incident.
Police said they arrested John Rarick, 29 and Alexander Cohen, 29. Both are from West Palm Beach.
According to police, The men allegedly robbed a Target in North Miami Beach around 3:15 p.m. with what police believe was a pellet gun, a Nordstrom Rack in Aventura and tried to rob a Walgreens in North Miami.
The men also allegedly robbed a person at a bus stop in North Miami, stealing $1,000 and a cellphone. Investigators say the thieves posed as police.
"(The victim) even asked are you police officers? And they said, yes we are," said Major Neal Cuevas, of the North Miami Police Department.
Police say it took a coordinated response from police officers from at least 4 agencies to catch these guys within 90 minutes of the Aventura incident, without any one being hurt.
"It looked like they were looking for any opportunity to rob either people or establishments," Cuevas said.
Late Monday, North Miami police said the men were also committed armed robbery at a toll booth in Bal Harbor Isles by going through the toll booth and not paying.
Also, police believe they may have been responsible for a robbery in Hollywood.
The men allegedly fled in a Black Acura MDX.
Police said the vehicle was spotted and Chopper 4 was over the scene on Biscayne Boulevard as the two alleged robbery suspects were taken into custody just before 5 p.m.

Johnson & Wales student Justin Dickason watched the arrests unfold from his dorm room as he recorded cellphone video of it.
"People think they can get away with anything," Dickason told CBS 4 News. "And they really can't. You're going to get caught either way so don't do it."
