COVID In Florida: 3,977 New Cases, 66 Additional Deaths Reported Saturday
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Florida Department of Health reported another 3,977 new coronavirus cases on Saturday.
That brings the total to 2,266,575 since the first publicly announced infection in March of 2020.
There were 66 additional deaths, bringing the total to 36,412.
The single-day positivity rate was 4.67% while the 14-day positivity rate was 5.83%.
MIAMI-DADE
In Miami-Dade, there were 825 newly reported cases of COVID-19 and 14 newly reported deaths.
The death toll stands now at 6,246.
The additional cases increased Miami-Dade County's overall total to 489,839.
The single-day positivity rate was 4.75% while the 14-day positivity rate was 5.50%.
BROWARD
In Broward, there were 353 new cases and 12 additional deaths.
The death toll stands at 2,960.
Broward County's overall total increased to 239,602 cases.
The single-day positivity rate was 3.69% while the 14-day positivity rate was 5.41%.
MONROE
In Monroe, there were 12 newly reported cases and no additional deaths.
Monroe County's overall totals are 6,972 cases and 49 deaths.
The single-day positivity rate was 5.38% while the 14-day positivity rate was 4.44%.
