Coral Gables Crash Leaves 2 Critically Injured
CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami.com) – Coral Gables police are investigating the circumstances that left two people in extremely critical condition after they were hit by car near the intersection of LeJeune Road and Bird Road.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Saturday. A total of four pedestrians, all of whom were visiting from Spain, were hit during the crash.
Coral Gables Police said a black 2-door Honda was driving south on LeJeune towards the intersection of Bird Road. At that point, a gold Nissan SUV heading north on LeJeune attempted to make a left turn and hit the Honda.
The Honda then drove off the road and hit the 4 pedestrians who were on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Coral Gables police said charges may be filed, depending on the outcome of their crash investigation.
