Cops: Man Resealed Used Enema Kits, Returned Them To Store
JACKSONVILLE (CBS4) - Police say the unsanitary, and extremely unorthodox, actions of a Jacksonville man may have put several people's health in danger.
Ronald Eugene Robinson, 34, has been charged with using enemas and then returning them to pharmacies resealed, claiming they were unused.
Federal prosecutors said Thursday that several of the enemas were then resold to unsuspecting customers.
Robinson is charged with tampering with consumer products.
If convicted, Robinson faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The customers who purchased the used enemas have been notified by authorities.
It is unclear if the tampered enemas led to any health issues.
