Collier Co. Teen Taken In Custody In Parents' Deaths
COLLIER COUNTY (CBS4) - A Naples teen was taken into custody and charged by sheriff's deputies after they found the bodies of boy's parents in the family's home.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office they received a call about a shooting at the at a Golden Gates Estates home around 8:30 a.m. When deputies arrived, they found 40-year old Thomas Crain and his wife Kelly Crain, 39, dead in their bedroom, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Michelle Batten. Their 14-year old son Alexander surrendered and was taken into custody. He's been charged with two counts of second degree murder.
Neighbor Kimberly West says Alexander is the youngest of the couple's three sons. She called all three boys "sweethearts."
