Cold Front Brings Temps In The 40s, Sunny Sunday

MIAMI (CBS4)-A very slow moving cold front took it's time leaving South Florida early Saturday resulting in clouds, rain, and chilly temperatures.

The front was ushering in cooler air over much of the state with early morning lows in the 30s across northern Florida.

"The upper winds are not really blowing this front through quickly so we are stuck in the clouds and showers behind the front a little longer than expected" said CBS4 meteorologist Craig Setzer.

Setzer said drier but still cool air will clear South Florida out later on Saturday.  Saturday night will see chilly overnight readings in the 40s but sunshine will return on Sunday when highs are forecast to reach the 70s.
