Coconut Creek Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident
FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A Coconut Creek man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Deerfield Beach on Saturday.
Jeffrey Hirt, 47, was in front of the Sawgrass Promenade on South Military Trail when he was struck by a Honda around 5:45 p.m.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said the driver of the Honda, 73-year old James Morin, was heading north on South Military trail. When he went to make a left turn into the plaza, he turned into the path of Hirt's motorcycle which was heading south of South Military Trail.
Hirt, who slammed into the passenger side of the vehicle, was taken to Broward Health North where he was pronounced dead.
