Cocaine Found At Kennedy Space Center
CAPE CANAVERAL (CBS4) - An investigation is underway after a small amount of cocaine was found at facility at the Kennedy Space Center.
The white powdery substance, which weighed just over four grams, was found last week according to NASA spokesman Allard Beutel, it tested positive for cocaine. Beutel did not say where the substance was found.
This is not the first time cocaine has been found at the space center.
A small amount was discovered in January 2010 in a secure part of a hangar that housed space shuttle Discovery. A spokeswoman from NASA's Inspector General Office in Washington declined to comment on how that case was resolved.
