Coast Guardsman Pleads Guilty To Sexual Assault Charge
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A military judge sentenced a Coast Guardsman to two years confinement for sexual assault.
Petty Officer Tyler A. Banks, 30, plead guilty to the charge on Tuesday as part of a pretrial agreement.
Banks was assigned to Coast Guard Base Miami Beach when the offense occurred.
As part of his plea agreement, Banks was dishonorably discharged and got a reduction in pay-grade.
