MIAMI (CBSMiami/NSF) – Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is ready to make a campaign trip to the politically crucial "I-4 Corridor" and to South Florida.

The move comes after Republican Donald Trump campaigned this week in Daytona Beach and Jacksonville.

Clinton will hold rallies Monday in St. Petersburg and Kissimmee, her campaign announced Friday.

She also is expected to visit Miami on Tuesday, though details were not immediately released.

Florida is a critical swing state in the November election, and the region along Interstate 4 from Daytona Beach to the Tampa-St. Petersburg metro area could be pivotal.

Clinton also hopes to win large margins in Miami and other areas of Democrat-rich South Florida, as Republicans typically do well in conservative North Florida.
