MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton was supposed to campaign in New Jersey Thursday but changed those plans and is instead heading to California where she will take on not just one but two opponents.
Clinton is in San Diego where she plans to make the case that Donald Trump's foreign policy is bad for America.
"On issue after issue, we see someone who is unqualified and unfit to be president of the United States," said Clinton.
Aides said her speech will focus on "dangerous policies that Trump has espoused - ranging from nuclear proliferation to endorsing war crimes - from denouncing NATO to banning Muslims."
"She lies, she lies," said Trump.
He played offense in Sacramento Wednesday night saying it's Clinton that has made the world more volatile.
"Her Libya invasion, decisions on Syria, Iraq, and Iran have made the Middle East more dangerous than ever, ever before and you know that," said Trump.
Trump isn't the only reason Clinton is travelling to California. Her Democratic opponent - Bernie Sanders - has been gaining ground in the polls there ahead of next week's primary.
Sanders says he is gaining momentum because his populist message is attracting new voters.
"We're going to open up the Democratic Party for all of the people," said Sanders.
A new poll out Thursday morning shows Clinton with a two point lead - which is within the poll's margin of error. Clinton needs just 73 delegates to give her a majority needed to clinch the Democratic nomination.
