City Of Doral Looking For A New Police Chief

DORAL (CBSMiami) – Doral's new City Manager Edward Rojas announced Wednesday that he and Police Chief Richard Blom have amicably parted ways.

Blom has served the City of Doral for nineteen months, according to Rojas's memorandum to Mayors and Councilmembers.

Blom has 38 years of law enforcement experience.

Blom's last day will be August 1^st.

Deputy Chief Jose Seiglie will provide leadership to the department during the transition of the new chief.

Ramos's intends to name a Chief of Police by August 1^st, according to the memorandum.
