Child Protective Services Worker Charged With Falsifying Records
CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami/AP) — The Broward County Sheriff's Office has charged a Child Protective Services investigator with five counts of falsifying records.
Investigators said Sandra Marti, 57, from Coral Springs was to visit the children in the care of Child Protective Services, but never met them face-to-face.
In one case, she asked for cell phone photos according to an arrest affidavit obtained by CBS4 News.
In other cases, Marti was supposed to show up at a school or meet with the parents of children, but did not according to detectives.
The instances dated back to January 2012.
Marti was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
