Cher To Attend Clinton Event In Miami Beach

CORRECTION: This story originally stated Cher would be singing at a concert in support of Hillary Clinton. However, the Clinton campaign now says the event is not open to the public, is not a concert and there is no expectation Cher will sing. It is simply a fundraiser.
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Iconic singer Cher is attending an event in Miami Beach this weekend to support Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Cher will be at the Fillmore in Miami Beach this Sunday, according to the Miami New Times.
Tickets for the fundraiser are up for sale at hillaryclinton.com.
The price tag for those tickets range from $45 to $2,700. The highest price tier ticket would allow you to attend a "host reception" with Cher.
This is the second time Cher stops in Miami to fundraise for Clinton. She was in South Florida for a Wynwood event back on August 19th.
This past weekend major Latin singers like JLO, Marc Anthony, and Gente De Zona hosted a concert supporting Clinton in Miami.
Both Clinton and Trump have been campaigning hard in Florida within the last month and have more scheduled events as election day is just a week away.
