Check Cashing Burglars Get In Through Roof, Get Away

DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Broward Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two men who tried to steal money from a check cashing store in Dania Beach Friday morning.
It all happened at 112 South Federal Highway just before 9:00 a.m.
Deputies said the two armed men got in by making a hole through the roof. One female employee was inside at the time.
They did not get away with any money because the employee did not have access to the cash so the men grabbed the employee's purse.
The employee is not injured but she was pushed to the ground during the burglary.
Investigators are currently at the scene.
