Caught On Camera: Miami-Dade Police Officers Save Man From Jumping Off Overpass
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A dramatic life-saving rescue was caught on camera.
This past weekend, several Miami-Dade police officers responded to a man who was attempting to jump off an overpass in Kendall.
Newly released bodycam video shows how the officers acted quickly to prevent the man from jumping.

"The last six months, the community and ourselves, everyone in this country, has been having a difficult time. Luckily, we were able to bring this man and save this man's life and get him the medical attention he needed," said Lt. William Romero.
Afterwards, he was taken to a local hospital for mental health evaluation.
"All of us converged on the area with the same hope. The desire to save his life," said Sgt. Cheryl Diaz.
