Casey Anthony Heads Back To Bankruptcy Court
TAMPA (CBSMiami) – Casey Anthony's attorney will be back in bankruptcy court Tuesday attempting to prevent a trustee in the case from trying to sell her life story to pay off outstanding debts.
A trustee overseeing the Anthony case presented a motion Tuesday to receive permission to set up a potential auction for "exclusive worldwide rights" for Anthony's life story. Court filings showed Anthony with just less than $800,000 in debts to multiple creditors.
Anthony has never shared her side of the story of the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. Last month, Anthony said she was unemployed and hasn't received any money to tell her story.
Anthony, now 26, was acquitted of murder in 2011 for the death of Caylee.
