Caron Butler May Be Miami Bound Soon
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Milwaukee Bucks are expected to complete a buyout of Caron Butler's contract Wednesday to let him become a free agent. Butler is then expected to go from the frigid cold of Wisconsin to the warmth of South Florida.
According to multiple reports including ESPN and the Miami Herald, once Butler is released, he's expected to try to sign with the Miami Heat. Butler played with the Heat for his first two seasons in the association.
The veteran Butler averages 11 points and 4.6 rebounds in approximately 24.1 minutes per game for the Bucks this season. But, has struggled shooting, hitting just 38.7 percent of his shots.
In addition, Butler is allowing opposing players he guards to hit 47 percent of their shots.
But, Butler is a tough, veteran team player like the Heat like.
