SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – Crews worked tirelessly to pull a car, with a person inside, from a Sunrise lake on Friday.
As of Friday evening, they had pulled the car from the pond and towed it away.
Orange spray paint marked the spot where investigators believe the car went into the water.

Early Friday afternoon, members of the Sunrise Police Department dive team rushed to the lake behind the Space Coast Credit Union in the 7700 block of Oakland Park Boulevard.
"Someone was parking and they noticed the roof of the car a little and that's when they called the police," said Josephs.
Ann Josephs says when emergency responders got to the scene, the person inside was already dead.
Investigators are not sure how long the person had been underwater or how they got there.
"We just hope to find out why and pray for the family and there is a family for them. It's really sad," said Josephs.
Officers found identification inside of the car but, as of Friday evening, they had not released that information other than the driver was 83 years old.
Ann Josephs said she spoke to the driver who pulled the body from the water.
"I was just concerned. Was it an elderly person? He said, 'yes it was like an elderly person,'" said Josephs.
It is unclear what caused the person to drive into the water. Now, it's up to the Medical Examiner to determine if the incident was an accident caused by a medical condition or something else.
