Car Fire Causes Traffic Tie Up On Turnpike

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A car fire in West Miami-Dade has caused some major traffic Friday afternoon.
The car was seen burning on the southbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike near the Dolphin Expressway (SR836) just after 5 p.m.
Chopper 4 was over the scene as flames billowed out of the silver or white colored car.
Behind the fire, you could see traffic that stretched for miles.
A few cars were seen passing next to the fire through an open lane.
No word on whether anyone was injured. It is unclear what caused the blaze.
