'Canes Look For Strong Finish Against South Florida
MIAMI (CBS4) - When South Florida and Miami play on Saturday, only one of the two teams will still be in the running for at least a share of their conference championship.
And it's not the Hurricanes.
Miami sends off its seniors and closes its regular season this week against South Florida, which still has a chance — albeit small — for a share of the Big East title. The Hurricanes were knocked out of the Atlantic Coast Conference race last week, and now find themselves dealing with a dilemma at starting quarterback.
Jacory Harris has recovered from his concussion, but Stephen Morris took many first-team snaps in practice this week. Meanwhile, South Florida coach Skip Holtz says it doesn't matter who starts for Miami, which he calls "a very, very talented team."
