Cab Driver Shot At NW Miami-Dade Gas Station
NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Several police agencies responded to a shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade Friday night.
It happened at a West Star Gas Station on Opa-locka Boulevard.
According to Miami-Dade police, a cab driver was walking to his cab when several shots were fired at him and the cab from a distance.
The man was transported to Ryder Trauma Center and is in stable condition.
Police said this was not a robbery because nothing was taken.
It is not clear whether the man was the intended target.
Opa-locka, Miami-Dade, and North Miami police all responded to the scene.
